It's been a while, but we're back to give you the rundown on all things flowers.
With life being as fast paced as it is, we often take for granted the things we see, and have around us. Let’s take a look at our 5 senses as an example. Rarely do we stop and think about what goes in to creating our sense of smell, taste, touch, hearing, or sight. They’re usually just there, and that’s the end of it. As with many other things, flowers/floral arrangements are the same way. We buy them, we send them, but why is it that we have come to associate red roses with love? Why do we use white lilies for funerals?
Flowers and plants have always been significant for many cultures throughout the ages. Whether it was for medicinal, magickal, religious, or decorative purposes, flowers have been an important part of ancient societies. With our blog we hope to discover, with you, some of the things that have led our tastes and customs to where they are now.
